Patient Referrals

The Penn State Cancer Institute offers a comprehensive range of diagnostic and leading treatment services including bone marrow transplantation, radiation therapy, and elective participation in more than 200 cancer research protocols.  Its cancer support teams provide nutritional consultation, occupational therapy, and physical therapy.  A number of patient support groups meet regularly at the Hershey Medical Center.  The Ronald McDonald House in Hershey offers a home away from home for the parents and families of children with cancer and other serious illnesses.  The American Cancer Society's Hope Lodge in Hershey provides convenient low-cost lodging for adult patients with cancer and their families. When you refer your patient to us you may be sure he or she will receive the best possible care.

The hours of operation for the Penn State Cancer Center Telephone Line are as follows:

  • Mondays - Wednesdays and Fridays, 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
  • Thursdays, 9:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.

The hours of operation for the Penn State Cancer Center Offices are as follows:

  • Mondays - Wednesdays and Fridays, 8:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m.
